本研究目的在於比較台灣慣行水平棚架整枝與新設計之直立垣籬式整枝高接梨園之優劣。評估從冬季休眠期之高接到春季套袋期間的工作與效率,垣籬式梨園在嫁接時能省去人員移動與上下梯子的時間,約佔完整嫁接時間的17%;套袋工作時能省去人員移動與上下梯子的時間,約佔完整套袋時間的14%。在砧枝數量與分布上,垣籬式整枝者亦較水平棚架容易調整,能使砧枝均勻分布于全園,而有效利用果園空間,評估其產量亦不遜於慣行栽培模式。
This study focused on the differences between the management of conventional horizontal trellis training model and vertical trellis(espalier) training model of top-grafting sand pears (Pyrus spp.). The work and efficiency of top-grafting in winter dormancy period and bagging in spring time were evaluated. Vertical trellis training model can save the time required for grafting and bagging, especially the time required during shifting the ladder and moving up and down the ladder, that takes about 17% and 14% in total time.The vertical trellis training model is easier to regulate the quantity and distribution of stock-shoots than the conventional horizontal one. Consequently, the stock-shoots are distributing evenly on one or two arms of the tree, which makes the orchard management more reasonable. The estimated yield of vertical trellis trained orchard is as high as the horizontal trained orchard.
