中文摘要

面對科技的創新與網際網路應用的普及化,尤其是對處在快速度化環境下的企業為了在眾多競爭者中謀求生存,必須尋求適當的變革之道,重新打造企業態勢,在無常的環境中求變求生存,變革管理已是企業經理人的日常工作。企業經理人要有良好的工作績效,除了要培養卓越的決策能力之外,還必須具備變革管理的知識與能力來執行決策以及推動必要的組織變革。 有鑑於此,本研究主要目的是探討轉型變革期技術學院校長領導風格對教師工作滿意之影響。使用描述劊計、二因子變異數分析(two-way ANOVA)、Scheff法進行事後考驗、Pearson責差相關等。研究結果發現大專院校校長領導型態與教師工作滿意具有顯著正相關。校長表現「高倡導、高關懷」的領導型態,教師工作滿意度會較高。教師指出領導者的特質是公平一致、支持部屬及善於溝通協調者。

英文摘要

 Facing technological innovation and proliferation of the Internet, enterprises need to change to stay competitive in accordance with the rapid changing settings. Change management becomes part of routine practice for managers. Managers who want to achieve good performance, in audition to their excellent abilities in decision making, must have knowledge and abilities about change management to carry out decision and organizational changes. The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between school leadership and teacher’s job satisfaction in technical colleges transformed from junior colleges. Descriptive statistics were performed on all variables including means and standard deviations, two-way analyses of variance, and one open-ended question. The results of this study indicated that faculty perceptions of their presidents’ leadership styles and their levels of general job satisfaction are strongly related. College presidents whose leader ship styles emphasize both high Initiating Structure and high Consideration foster faculty job satisfaction. The most common answers were for good leaders to be fair and consistent, be supportive of subordinates, have creative vision with high expectation, be good at communicating and coordinating, and be patient when listening
