為補充現有譬度蕨類的知識，而將Dixit (1984)所寫的「印度蕨類簡志」所列舉的219個分類群加以研究整理，其中36個分類群是有疑問的，應予以刪除。
英文摘要
To supplement the knowledge of Indian Pteridophytes, the nomenclature of 219 taxa enumerated in “A Census of Indian Pteridophytes” by Dixit (1984) has been updated. During the revision 36 taxa have been found doubtful and excluded.
