本文為臺灣紫草科植物全面訂正之前驅工作，包含12屬24種之名稱、分布、選擇除證據標本及附記。其中並含貳新組合名: 金平氏破布子Cordia aspera G. Forstersubsp. kanehirai (Hayata) H.-Y. Liu comb. nov., 和伏毛天芹菜Heliotropium procumbensMill. var. depressum (Cham.)H.-Y. Liu comb. nov.
