金融體系的國際化帶動商品創新，銀行、證券、保險三者業務區隔逐漸模糊，金融機構的跨業經營成為趨勢。台灣保險業者在這場監理與經營環境的變局中，必須瞭解國際潮流與政府政策，妥為因應，才能開創新局。本文從金融環境的說明開始，再分析台灣保險監理法規的走向、業務經營面臨的問題，最後歸納出臺灣保險業在金融整合趨勢下應有的發展方向。

The globalization of the financial services industry encourages product innovation, while the business among banking, securities, and insurance businesses is becoming less defined than it was previously. Cross-selling among various business and product lines in the financial services industry is a definite trend. Encountering such a trend, the participants and affiliates in the insurance industry in Taiwan must understand the global norm and the related governmental regulations involved in order to well position themselves for the new business opportunities and challenges. This article began with an introduction to the current business environment for the financial industries in Taiwan, further analyzed the directional changes in the relevant governmental regulations, anticipated possible business challenges, and ends by offering suggestions as to how insurance companies can better situate themselves for the coming challenges.
