本實證研究調查國內企業採用SIS(Strategicinformation system)的情況。受訪的92家公司中，三分之二以土的公司資本額在三億元台幣以土，每年電腦部門的花費在一千萬元以上，引用電腦的時間超過八年°67%的受訪公司已進行某些SIS的活動o然而，其中有45.8%表示不滿o至於促成企業採用SIS的因素，前三項依序是:(1澄令企業策略規劃與資訊系統，(2)滿足內部作業需求，(3)管理階層的遠見 和支持o本研究初步發現下列五個因素與企業採用SIS有顯著的正相關:(1)高階主 管對內部電腦應用系統使用情形的暸解程序(2)高階主管對MIS架構認知的程劇(3)正式的策略規劃(4}正式的MIS規剝(5)產品的變動大。

This empirical Study investigated the current status of SIS (strategic information sgstem) usage in Taiwan. thirds of the 92 firms surveyed had more than NT$ 300 billion in capital， more than NT$ 10 billion in annual mls expenditures， and had using emputers for more than 8 gears. 67% of the surveyed firms proceeded some Kind of SIS actiuities. However， 45.8% of them were not saticfied with their SIS， The first three reasons for using SIS are: (1) integrating mis with corporate strategic planning (2) to satisfy the require ments of internal operarions. (3) iniriated by top management. The principle findings showed that top managers' understundiog of the usage of computer applications， top msnagers' understanding of the total mls architecture， fnmal corpnate strategic planning， fnmal mis planning and fast chaniny in prodwcts are positively associated with the use of SIS.
