二十一世紀的台灣教育環境,正面臨九年一貫課程變革、少子化、教育資源減少、建立學校本位課程、強化學校經營績效與競爭力之挑戰,因此學校創新頓導與經營是今日創造學校存在價值的重要策略,而校長正是扮演創新頓導守門人的關鍵角色,必須帶頓成員集思廣益,善用成員智慧與創意,在學校既有的優勢與特色基礎上,創造新價值、新特色,開拓無人競爭的藍海轉機。本文以「校長創新頓導在國民小學校務經營上的應用」為題,首先闡述創新頓導之意涵,其次探討國民小學校長的創新頓導現況為何?作為一校的頓導人應具有哪些創新觀念?以及如何善用策略,在激烈的教育競爭下,突破學校傳統管理運作模式,引頓學校組織文化創新變革,鼓勵師生發揮創意,提升學校整體競爭力。

英文摘要

In this 21st century; schools in Taiwan are facing such new challenges as reformation of the grade 1 - 9 curriculum, low birthrates, reduced resources for education, demands of school curriculum with distinguishing features, strong needs to increase school achievements, competiveness, etc. So, to create or promote the values of a school, the innovative leadership and administration has become very important. Since the principal plays the key role in this respect, he or she should lead all the staff by drawing on collective wisdom and absorbing all useful creative ideas, to build up on the school's existing good foundations some new and better values and features, and therefore obtain an advantage over the school's competitors.

Entitled “'Applicationof the Principal's Innovative Leadership to the Administration of the Elementary School," this paper is meant to show the significance of innovative leadership, then to explore the current status of elementary school principals' innovative leadership, and finally to explain what new concepts a school leader is supposed to acquire or learn, and how to adopt useful strategies to break through the traditional school administrative styles and methods, make the teachers and students more creative and dynamic, so that the organizational culture of the whole school can be led to a new and better state, with the school competitiveness largely promoted.
