近年由於台灣社會變遷迅速，以及社會競爭的增加，此使青少年應是參與休閒運動最頻繁的年紀，在即將邁入社會前，產生直接或間接的壓力，反映在憂慮、憂鬱、自殘、自殺事件有越來越多的趨勢，是否其壓力來源與休閒運動參與的多寡有關?是本文希望探究的目的，基此本研究探究休閒運動參與概念壓力來源的關連性，結果為:有效問卷721份，經因素分析、pearson相關係數分析與單因子變異數分析(one-wayANOVA)統計方法，α二0.05為顯著考驗水準經進行資料分析後，發覺不同的大學生屬 性與壓力來源有顯著性的差異。大學壓力來源指標可歸納為五向度包括:環境生活適應力、物質與兩性交往判斷力、自我生活適應力、自我價值判斷力學習適應力等，大學生休閒運動參與因素與壓力指標有顯著性差異，代表大學生休閒運動參與與壓力是有密切的關連性，故呼籲政府有關單位重視大學生休閒運動的提倡，減少大學生之壓力，防止不幸事件之發生。
