直接甲醇燃料電池為近年來可攜式能源研究上的熱門議題,在直接甲醇燃料電池朝向被動式、微型化、高功率密度發展的趨勢中,因高電流密度所伴隨的陽極高CO2產生率,使得CO2氣泡移除議題更續重要。本文從直接甲醇燃料電池的原理開始,介紹微米流道內幫助CO2移除之設計及表面處理,最後提出以奈米碳管修飾電極幫助CO2被動移除的觀點,CO2移除效率對電催化反應電流的影響也一併討論。

英文摘要

Direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) has been a hot issue in portable energy source recently. Passive operation, microsize, and high power density is the trend of DMFC development. High CO2 production rate is accompany with high current density, so that the CO2 bubble removal issue would be more critical. This paper starts from the principle of DMFC and reviews several micro channel designs and surface treatments that facilitate CO2 bubble removal. Also, this paper proposes that carbon nanotubes, CNTs, modified electrodes can facilitate CO2 bubble removing passively. The influence of CO2 bubble removing efficiency on electrocatalytic current is also discussed in this paper.
