經本文整理後，台灣蕁麻科冷水麻屬有13種及1變種，盤花麻屬及烏來麻屬各有1種。其中，橢圓葉水麻為新種，透莖冷水麻為台灣之新紀錄，日本水麻確認其分布於本島。矮冷水麻之原種及其變種齒葉矮冷水麻均見於台灣。以前認為特產於台灣的長梗盤花麻為一世界廣布之多形種。各屬種均附與詳細描述。除了小葉冷水麻之外，均給予手繪圖。中華冷水麻為蕁麻科苧麻屬植物，自冷水哥屬中剔除。
