由於臺灣的河川洪水期與枯水期之水理變化甚大,影響魚類棲地甚鉅,若要將生態保育納入河川整治工程中,除了應用傳統的水理計算功能外,也須兼顧生態棲地之模擬與評估。本研究以加拿
大亞伯他大學土木與環境學系所發展的河川棲地二維模式(River 2D)為演算核心,用以模擬河川流況,經由現地水生物(如魚類)及河川流況調查資料,建立指標魚種棲地適合度曲線;並以筏子溪作為研究案例,探討水工結構物對棲地可用面積 WUA (Weighted Usable Area )之影響情況。

英文摘要

Due to the significant discharge variation in flood and draught seasons for Taiwan’s rivers, the varied discharge may alter river bed geometry and affect the fish habitat. Involving the concept of ecological conservation in the river regulation works, it has to integrate hydraulic calculations with habitat simulation and evaluation. This study is based on the two dimensional river habitat model (River2D) developed by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of Alberta, Canada to simulate flow scenarios. The fish-indicator’s habitatsuitability is simulated using field biological investigation such as fish and hydraulic field data. A case study of Farzhi Stream is used to discuss the hydraulic structures and the habitat weighted usable area (WUA) relationship.
