本文企圖擺放在情愁地理學發展迄今的理論高度上，以台北新公園這個充滿傳奇的男同性愁集來地方為例，並以白先勇的小說《孽子》為主妥分析材斜，來討論以下幾個課題:(一)新公園做為男同性戀者的活動地點，如何被再現，?(...::.)情慾空闊的再見與想像，與男同性戀認同之間的關係如何?(三)新公園做為一個「情慾之兵質空間J'其再現與想像如何映射了異性克里社會的霸權與焦慮;(吋擺三放在歷史與社會關係的脈絡恕，新公園的情慾地理形貌在這個公共空間的多重意義之流溢與混雜手里，扮演什麼角色，從事什麼樣的「空間演出J'可能有什麼效采?但)在理論的思考上，r空間演出J和「情慾演出j如何搭速上「認同建構J的概念?對 於同性戀之認同政治的悶展有何助益?

This article intents to explore the geography of sexuality of Taipei Park through a textual analysis of Hsien-yung Po's famous gay novel. The topics discussed include: (1) The spatial representations of Taipei Park as a meeting place of gays， (2) the relation between representations of erotic space and gay identity， (3) the Taipei Park as an “eroticheterotopia" in Foucault's sense that reflecting the homophobia and sexual anxiety of heterosexuality， (4) the conflicting and multiple meanings of Taipei Park in the historical-social trajectory of Taiwan， and (5) to enquire if spatial performance and erotic performance could connect to the construction of gay identity in the struggle for public space and homosexual movement_
