1980年代以後，“科技工業園區"成為台灣空間地素的新論述、規劃界的新方 向，甚至是國家經濟、技街升級的代表。本篇文章針對此新趨勢乃從新國際分工、技街依賴、資本聯結方式等面向，結合利用科技機構的統計、資料及科技雜誌報導、期刊等，來探討台灣的新產業是否在“科技升級"的期待中，擺脫了過去工業對先進國家存在的技街依賴關係，朝向自主發展，本文同時也企圖釐清台灣高科技工業的研究發展、生產過程、產品交換的空間分工結構，期待在“高科技"美處名詞的迷忍下，提供一個教符發展事實的理解榮構。

After 1980's， the Science-Based Industry park became a new discourse of landscape and a new direction for planning in Taiwan_ Itrepresents the upgrading of the state's economics and technology_ This paper follows upon the new tendency， by focusing on the new international division of labor， technology dependency， and the linkages of capitaL It explores whether or not Taiwan's high technology industries will break with the traditional relations of technological dependence on the advanced countries and fulfill the governmonts expectations regarding technology promotion_ This paper also try to clearify the spatial division of labor in Taiwan's high technology industry: R&D， the process of production， and exchange network_ This research constructs a easily realized framework more closely approximating the reality obscured by the “High-Tech"myth.
