申涵光(1619-1677)是清初河朔詩派領袖，也是明遺民詩家的代表人物之一。本文所以選擇申涵光為研究對象，主要考量以下因素，其一，明遺明詩家多具有「詩學杜甫」的背景，而在眾多「學杜」的詩家行列中，申涵光曾有「學杜，功力最深，一時作手，無能及之者」之目，本文遂擬由申涵光的詩作，以概見明遺民「學杜」之大要。其二，「學杜」之外，申涵光也曾評點杜詩，名曰《說杜》。此書雖久佚，但仍可由清人杜詩評註本的內容，從中歸納其評杜要旨。並結合其「學杜」要點，以完整勾勒出申氏的詩學面貌。其三，申涵光晚年，曾「易浣花而濂溪」長達十四年，將心力由詩學轉為理學，箇中緣由何在？為理解以上問題，本文擬先探討申涵光的詩作特色，以具體論析「涵光學杜，功力最深」的評價意義；進而由相關的杜詩評註本所徵引之《說杜》內容，歸納申涵光評杜的要旨；最後則是討論申涵光「捨詩學而就理學」的路徑轉換緣由。期能透過本文，以完整掌握申涵光的詩學內涵，並據此概見清初遺民詩與理學詩的要點所在。
