知識經濟的社會,國家競爭力的基礎在於成功的教育,而成功的教育則仰賴高品質的教師專業。校長若能善用知識領導,鼓勵教師透過多元管道進行教師專業發展,來提升教師專業能力,除了兼顧教學與學習的品質之外,亦能提高學校經營效能。本文首先論述教師專業發展的重要性與實務困境,再介紹知識領導的意涵與校長知識領導的重要性,並以校長知識領導的觀點,從校長角色、組織氛圍、知識管理平台、學校革新及績效責任五個層面,探討促進教師專業成長的可行策略。

英文摘要

In knowledge economy society, the competency of nation lies in the successful education and successful education will be determined by the quality of teachers’ professional. In order to promote teaching and the study quality and enhance effectiveness of school management, principals should make good use of knowledge leadership and encourageteachers to implement teachers’ professional development by multidimensional ways. This article is organized into three sections. First, I elaborate the importance of teachers’ professional development and its’ barriers in education practice. Second, I introduce the basic concept of knowledge leadership and the importance of principals’ knowledge leadership.Finally, according to principals’ knowledge leadership, the strategies of promoting teachers’ professional development were discussed in five dimensions: principals’ role, atmosphere of organization, knowledge management platform, school change and accountability.
