免標定生物感測技術相較於傳統感測技術,如螢光或是放射性分析法檢測,除了快速、簡易、可即時偵測之外,還可以降低標定物會破壞鍵結交互作用的風險,對於生物動力學、親和力以及濃度鑑定皆是很好的分析工具。本文中,介紹數種目前市場佔有率較高的免標定生物感測器的技術原理及其相關商業儀器,分別為石英晶體微天平、表面電漿共振、導模共振、光學干涉以及本實驗室開發的光纖定域電漿共振。
As compared to conventional bio-detection techniques such as those with fl uorescence and radioactive labelling,label-free biosensors not only avoid the errors due to the labelling procedure but also offer additional advantages such as short analysis time, simple procedure, and capability of real-time monitoring. Furthermore, it is a powerful analytical tool for studies of bio-interaction kinetics, bio-affinity, and concentration of biological species in real samples. This report will introduce the principles of several label-free biosensing techniques that have relatively high market shares today and their commercialized instruments. The techniques to be described will include surface plasmon resonance (SPR), guided mode resonance (GMR), optical interference, and fi ber optic-localized plasmon resonance (FO-LPR) which is developed by our laboratory.
