中文摘要

電信用金屬接點之可靠性與品質對通信使用者而言是最重要的,本研究最主要係針對大氣中常見的腐蝕性氣體,二氧化硫與二氧化氮,在高溼度環境中,對電信用鍍金、鍍銀與鍍鎳等金屬接點腐蝕特性之影響作一探討。因此主要利用流動式混合氣體試驗與電化學交流阻抗測試技術,觀測與比較金属接點之表面與接觸電阻之變化。由實驗結果顯示,在二氧化硫氣體中,鍍金接點之接觸電阻最為穩定,但是在二氧化硫與二氧化氮混合氣體加速腐蝕試驗中,鍍鎳接點的表現最佳。另外由電子顯微鏡(SEM)之分析結果顯示,上述三種金屬接點之腐蝕型態均為孔洞腐蝕(pore corrosion)。

英文摘要

The reliability and quality of electrical contacts and connections are very important for telecommunication users. This investigation concerns the influence of NO2 and SO2 at low concentrations in high humid atmospheres on the corrosion of gold, silver and nickle-coated contact materials. The major testing technique includes a mixed-gas corrosion test and AC impedance measurement. Contact resistance and corrosion characteristics for three types of contacts are investigated and compared. The experimental result shows the contact resistance was the most stable for gold-plated connector in SO2 atmosphere. But in a mixed SO2+NO2 accelerated corrosion environments, it was found that the silver-plated connector possessed the best performance in contact resistance. It was also found that mixed SO2+NO2 atmosphere was more corrosive than SO2 atmosphere alone. All SEM analysis shows that the pore corrosion formed on three types of contacts.
