本研究探討中小學教師領導者的理念及其對我國學校教育的啟示,研究者首先闡述教師領導者的基本概念,以及如何培育教師領導者。在教師領導者的基本概念部分,包含:一、誰是教師領導者;二、教師領導者應具備哪些知能和特質。在如何培育教師領導者部分,包含:一、培育教師領導者的模式;二、培育教師領導者的課程種類,其中,培育教師領導者的課程種類,可歸納為五種,包含:一、證照取向的教師領導者訓練課程;二、師資培育機構與地方中小學或學區合作的專業發展學校;三、中小學學校本位或學區本位的教師領導者培育課程;四、大學本位的培育教師領導者碩士課程;五、小團體本位(歷程)的教師領導者訓練課程。其次,研究者進一步檢討我國中小學教師領導者的實施情形。最後,根據我國中小學教師領導者的實施檢討,提出八項對我國學校教育的啟示。

英文摘要

This study explores the rationale of teacher leaders in elementary and secondary schools, as well as its implication for school education in Taiwan. First, the researcher delineates the basic concepts of teacher leaders, including who teacher leaders are, and what skills and qualities teacher leaders require. In addition, this research explores how to develop teacher leaders, including the models and the programs for developing teacher leaders. After a critical review of the literature on teacher leaders, five kinds of teacher leaders development programs are found, including NBPTS certificates, PDS, programs based in schools or school districts, university-based degree programs, and programs that are small-group based. Second, this research discusses the implementation of the idea of teacher leaders in Taiwan. Finally, based on the discussion above, eight implications are proposed for school education in Taiwan.
