中文摘要

如何有效掌握所有森林資源以提供正確資訊,為森林經營管理過程中首重之要務,目前台大實驗林於造林地管理方面已將傳統書面資料逐步納入電腦處理,惟待建檔複查的造林地圖及大量的造林台帳資料,處理技術皆有改進之空間;本研究以臺大實驗林溪頭營林區為研究區域,利用地理資訊系統(Geographic Information System, GIS)技術將第3、6林班之圖籍資料及造林台帳資料整合並配合遙測資訊,期望將傳統書面資料型態提昇至以電腦為管理層級之數位管理方式,以省時、省工且符合經濟效益的原則下對造林地進行快速的清查及校對,冀在未來能提供經營者及現場造林施業人員即時、快速且正確之資訊,做為林地管理或經營規劃之主要參考資訊,並期望能將相關之技術推廣至林業施業現場應用及作為森林經營規劃之參考。

英文摘要

The key to effective forest management depends upon how we collect, analyze, manage, and use information about forest resources. In the past decades, the collection of information was mainly in traditional ways and processing of this information was only partly computerized. The Experimental Forest of National Taiwan University has employed a better solution by utilizing GIS techniques more efficiently. This study proposed a new approach based on the concept of GIS to rectify the traditional analog maps of Compartment 3 and Compartment 6 of Chi-Tou Tract. Based on the functions of overlay and image rectification, the approach was to integrate three kinds of maps with different scales, plantation map, compartment basic map, and photo basic map. The results indicated that this approach was valuable and could be applied for future practice and a number of plantation management activities can be benefited from the use of those digital maps.
