徐國是東夷諸國中的大國，西周時期和周王室戰爭頻繁，到了春秋雖然勢力衰退，卻仍然不時見於史書記載。本文整理徐國有銘銅器 21 件，發現在食器中似乎可以用獸形裝飾之有無來判別年代。徐國文字去除重複之共得 260 字左右，分析其中字形之構造和字體之風格。在形構方面分成簡化、繁化和類化三部分，發現除了個別單字寫法奇特，尚無法歸類外，大部分的字皆刻寫規矩，不難辨認。

Xu is a bigger vassal state among the Dongyi, they had war with Zhou Royal Court frequently in Western Zhou Dynasty. Though the Xu were declined in the Spring and Autumn Period, we can still find some record about them in the historical books. This article collected twenty-one bronzes of the Xu state and find out that in the food containers, animal-shaped decorations will help per iodization and Dating. Eliminate
some repeat words, we can get about two hundred and sixty bronze inscriptions and analyze its word-building and style of handwriting. The word-building section can separate into simplification, complication and analogy three parts, we can find out that except some special writing words that can’t categorized, most of the words were wrote regularly and easy to identify.
