中文摘要

本研究之目的是在探討台灣的「失業率」對「勞動生產力」之影響。實證分析像採用行政院主計處自1986年1月至2008年12月,以月為單位,的時間序列統計資料。分析的方法則採用自我回歸整合移動平均與轉移函數模型。實證結果發現,台灣的「失業率」對「勞動生產力」呈負向、且顯著的關條;顯示:降低失業率有助於勞動生產力之提升。這項結論存在著失業率與產出之間呈負相關的歐肯法則,並對本研究結論之意涵與研究限制進行討論,及對未來的研究提出建議。

英文摘要

he main pu叩ose of this study is to examine the influences for Taiwanese unemployment rate to labor productivity. The empirical analysis data, which comes from Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics, Executive Yuan, R.O.C. (Taiwan), is a time series data from Jan. 1986 to Dec. 2008 by month. The research method adopts ARIMA and Transfer models. The empirical results indicated that the Taiwanese unemployment rate is negative and significant to influence labor productivity. Itreveals that reducing the unemployment rate will promote the labor productivity. And the result is consistent with the Okun's law that unemployment rate and output are negative. According to the results of this study, the practical implications and limitations were discussed.
