歷來對王充頌漢的認識，大都是由其求功名的動機作為理解基礎，並將其視為王充媚漢的證明，以致後人對王充頌漢抱持著負面的評價，卻忽略由其頌漢的客觀層面，從頌漢的方法與標準作為反省基礎，本文的目的便在重新反省王充頌漢的問題與貢獻，分別探討王充頌漢主觀與客觀層面的問題，先由王充頌漢的時代背景與動機，對歷來非難王充頌漢的焦點作客觀的分析，再由王充頌漢的方法與標準，針對其頌漢的內容，究竟與俗儒有何不同，與其為學宗旨有無違背，並針對後人對頌漢值得商榷的部份作討論，期望能還給王充和頌漢應有的價值與意義，及未來能有更多相關對頌漢主題的討論，為後繼研究者提供更多元的視野，理解王充頌漢的意義與價值。

All through the ages, what people know about Wang Chung Praized Han Dynasty is mostly based theoretically on the motivation of pursuing scholarly honor or officail rank. It was regarded as the proof of Wang Chung’s fawning on Han Dynasty. To such an extent that the
descendants viewed Wang Chung Praizing Han Dynasty as negative
evaluation, but ignored that from praizing Han Dynasty objectively, introspecting from the methods and standards of praizing Han. The purpose of this article is to re-introspect the questions and contributions of Wang Chung Praizing Han Dynasty and to confer respectively the subjective and objective levels of the questions of Wang Chung Praizing Han Dynasty. Firstly it started with the background and the motivation of the times to analyze objectively throughout the history of criticizing Wang Chung adversely for praizing Han. Moreover, from the ways and standards of Wang Chung Praizing Han and directing against the context of it, what’s the difference with the secular scholars? Was there any violation with the tenet of his study? Therefore, we discuss the
disputable part of the descendants’ praizing Han. Hopefully we can give
back the supposed value and meaning to Wang Chung and Praizing Han
and discuss more related issues of the key subject in the future. Then we
can provide multiple visions for the successive researchers and to realize the meaning and value of Wang Chung Praizing Han Dynasty.
