中文摘要

近年來,數位學習平台成為網路教學及輔助傳統學習的重要工具。而由於介面設計上研究的不足,聚焦於數位學習平台介面設計的理論基礎亦缺乏深入探討。而未能依循介面設計原則所設計的數位學習平台介面,極可能造成學習者使用上的障礙,進而影響學習成效。
因此,本研究旨在探討數位學習平台介面設計,並以 WebCT教學平台為例,研究該平台介面設計之問題,並提出建議,做為學習平台開發與設計時的參考依據。文獻探討由數位學習平台與介面設計原則兩面向,歸納出數位學習平台的介面設計原則以作為研究之依據。在研究設計方面,使用質化研究的方式,以優使性的角度進行觀察,針對具該平台使用經驗並具備介面設計概念之數位學習平台開發人員,進行深度訪談法及焦點團體訪談,依據研究資料結果,不僅對 WebCT教學平台提出介面問題與改善建議,並冀望對未來數位學習平台的設計及使用者的學習有其正面的助益。

英文摘要

Recently, LMS (Learning Management System) has become an important tool for elearning and supporting traditional classroom instruction. Although, the researches of interface design have developed for years, it is still lacking of studies and theories support on the interface design in LMS. Without proper interface design, LMS could not only cause problems to use, but it can also decrease the effects of learning.
Therefore, this study concentrated on the interface design in LMS. In order to make appropriate suggestions and guideline for design and development of LMS, the well known WebCT is used as an example platform to exam the interface design principles and the possible problems of LMS. In the literature review, theories of interface of design, the characteristic of web-based instruction and function structure of LMS are used as the three major scopes to analyze and induce the interface design principles for LMS. According to the interface design principles, the qualitative research methods are employed. Five expert users are invited to use WebCT and also been monitored. Then in-depth interview and focus group interview are conducted to provide their ideas and critiques. As the results, in input of experts enhanced the theoretical supports and system developers provided the real world experiences and ideas of modification for LMS.
