中文摘要

從90年代開始,世界各國面臨國際化與經濟危機的挑戰,教育環境則面臨了少子化的衝擊,造成許多學校招生員額不足而面臨倒閉危機,也加速了高等教育市場化的趨勢。然而,學校經營除了解決當前的招生問題外,更應思考如何促使學校達成永續發展。聯合國教科文組織明確指出,這個新世紀我們所面臨的最大挑戰是永續發展議題。礙於目前國內少有教育永續發展的相關研究,且大多集中於環境相關議題。就教育政策領域上,少有針對教育永續發展的相關研究,因此,本文預計透過文獻與內容分析的方式,以釐清永續發展的相關概念,進而整理永續發展的相關作為,以供未來台灣在推動教育永續發展之參考。研究結果得知,永續發展最主要可概分為經濟發展、環境保護以及社會發展等三大面向,因此,學校單位應先釐清教育目標,進而透過整體組織再造與轉型,落實人才培育符合社會之所需;提昇民眾對環境保護之意識;進而教化學生成為經濟發展與環境保護兼顧之社會公民。

英文摘要

Each country in this world which was face to the internationalization and economic risk challenges, and educational environment face to the impact of declining birthrate, it made many schools face to the bankrupt risk because of prescribed number of personnel is not enough. It also accelerates the trend of higher education marketing. However, the school operation besides to solve existed recruit students problem, it also should consider how to make school approach to sustainability development. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization had explicit indicated to the most challenge what we face to in this century were the sustainability development issues. To obstruct less has relative researches about educational sustainability development in Taiwan, and most focus on the environment relative issues at the present day. At least on the educational policy area, it has less relative researches about educational sustainability development. Thus, this study expect the completion of using literatures and content analysis to understand the relative concepts of sustainability development, proceed to the next step sorting the relative deeds of educational sustainability development, and provide the referrals of advance educational sustainability development in the Taiwan’s future. According to the results of the study, the sustainability development principally could separate to economic development, environmental protection, and social development segments. Thus, the school unit should to understand the educational objectives, proceed to the next step get through the whole organizational restructure and switching, and then approach to the objective of the education.
