一位58歲女性患者過敏性鼻炎多年，近半年來其嗅覺逐漸減退，最近二個月出現嗅覺完全喪失，不聞香臭而前來就診，經中醫診斷為肺熱上犯，鼻竅不通，且患者腎陰虛有火，故處方以清瀉肺熱，宣通鼻竅，滋陰瀉火為主，在三個多月服用十次中藥後，其症狀完全痊癒。故提出此病例報告，望先學後進不吝參考與指教。

This 58 year-olds female patient has had allergic rhinitis for many years. For the last six months, the sense of her smelling diminished gradually. Two months ago she loss her olfaction completely and came to see a doctor of traditional Chinese medicine. After diagnosis, she was diagnosed by Chinese Medicine doctor that she had Lung heat upsurge, nasal congestion, and Kidney Yin deficient heat. Therefore, the treatment principle for her condition is clearing Lung heat, unblocking her nose by dispersing, nourishing Yin and clearing deficient heat. After three months treatment, the patient was cured completely by the Chinese herbal medicine with ten visits. Therefore, we would like to share this experience with the Chinese Medicine practitioners who are interested in this specific condition.
