Headache is one of the most common complaint in Chinese Medicine clinics. By a recent research, headache affects 66% of the global population, thereby it places an increasing burden on the health budget, and also disturbs both quality of life and work productivity. Cervicogenic headache is characterised by pain referred to the head generated from the cervical lesions. Although specialists have found this type of headache as a distinct disorder, some clinicians remain doubtful.
In this article, we review the concepts of cervicogenic headache form different fields.
