Most of people are used to thought hacker as the criminal in network society, but Himanen thinks it is a prejudice. In his view, ethics of Hacker is the continuation of the ethics of Protestant, and represents the spirit of modern society. He even thinks Hackers are the heroes in the network world. I agree most of the Himanen's view about the relation between hacker and Protestant, but it still worth to interpret more deeply. This paper tries to interpret ethics of hacker is the representation of Western legal civilization, which is a complexity of self-control, claim of right, and rationalized logos.
