本研究旨在探討大台北地區幼稚園及托兒所公辦民營現行經營模式與實施現況。研究以文件分析法及深入訪談法進行，首先以文件分析法探討國內幼稚園及托兒所發展歷程，接著以相關文獻分析學校公辦民營之理論內涵及經營模式型態，進一步深入訪談至四位台北市公辦民營托兒所所長、兩位台北縣公辦民營幼稚園園長及四位公辦民營幼稚園附設國中或國小校長，最後歸結出大台北地區幼稚園及托兒所公辦民營經營模式實施現況。根據文件分析及深入訪談之結果，本研究獲取以下結論：

The main objective of this research is to research the current operation model and present executing situation on privatization of kindergarten and nursery in the Taipei area. Document analysis method and deeply-interviewing are used on the study. To begin with, the study is to research the development process of the domestic kindergarten and nursery by document analysis method .Then, a lot of relative documents are analyzed on the theoretical contents and type of models of privatization. Further, deeply-interviewing four directors on privatization of nursery in Taipei City, two directors on privatization of kindergarten in Taipei County and four junior high or elementary school principals who own the privatization of kindergarten is on the study. Finally, the current model and executing situation is concluded with privatization of kindergarten and nursery in the Taipei area. According to the result of document analysis method and deeply-interviewing, the following conclusions of the study are:
