本文之論述主要分為五部分，首先闡明人文主義地理學的基本內涵與空間觀點；其次，探究「在世存有」的意蘊，以及人文主義地理學據此而開展的空間地方思想；進一步詮釋依此思想所開創的「存在空間」的構成及其基本圖示；並引出人文主義地理學「存在空間」的研究取向，即是文化歷史向度下的地方構成；最後，並以在世存有」的空間思維來省察空間規劃的實踐。

This article is divided into five main parts: to introduce the basic concepts of Humanistic Geography, to explore the thought of being-in-the-world, to interpret the meaning of Existential Space, to show the research approach of Existential Space based on the historical context of culture, and to reflect on the field of traditional planning.
