本文為運用Watson關懷照護理論於腸病毒病童及案母之護理經驗，護理期間自98年1月9日至14日，利用觀察及會談的方式進行整體性的護理評估，以了解腸病毒病童常見的問題及其母親所面臨之壓力與需求。透過評估結果顯示主要護理問題為體溫過高、口腔粘膜障礙及照顧者角色緊張，筆者運用Watson關懷照護理論作為護理過程中的指引及護理措施之依據，促進病童身體的舒適、減輕住院引起的焦慮，及案母情緒之紓解，提供以家庭為中心之護理。

This article was the application of Watson’s caring theory in nursing experience in a child with Enter virus infection and the mother. The nursing period was from January 9th to 14th, 2009. Direct observation and talks were utilized on holistic nursing assessment to understand what questions were frequently asked by the child patient with Enter virus infection and what pressures and demands the mother were facing. The results through the assessment showed that the main problems on nursing were hyperthermia, oral mucosal damage and caregiver strain. Watson’s caring theory was utilized by the author for the guidance and accordance in nursing process, to promote comfort of the child patient, to reduce anxiety due to hospitalization, to relieve emotional stress of the mother, and to provide family-centered nursing.
