漢字教學不僅是文字教學,更是學科整合的領域,漢字教學的範疇包括語言、文字以及文化。本研究的目的在探討運用美術於漢字與文化教學的可行性,試圖運用美術作品為輔助教材,連結視覺藝術與漢字教學,藉繪畫文物印證文字的意義、文化的意涵。
研究內容分為漢字與成語教學,以及文化教學二部分,漢字與成語教學以初學者為教學對象,文化教學則以具有基礎華文知識的學生為教學對象。
本研究的結論是:運用藝術於漢字與文化教學有助學生瞭解歷史、習俗,也可以幫助學生進一步認識深層的文化象徵。至於針對不同對象分級教學,則可以增進學生學習興趣並有助其觸類旁通
Chinese language teaching is not just teaching the language itself; it actually can be categorized as inter-disciplinary and inter-field specialty. The scope of Chinese language teaching covers the teaching of the Chinese language, the wordage, and the culture. The purpose of this study is to explore possibilities of using art in teaching Chinese characters and Chinese culture. We may link visual arts with Chinese language teaching. Art works can be used as supplementary teaching
materials. The meaning of Chinese language and the significance of Chinese culture can be confirmed through paintings and culture relics.
The study is divided into two parts: the teaching of Chinese characters and idioms, and the teaching of Chinese culture. The former is designed to target the beginners, while the latter is to target the students with a basic knowledge of Chinese language.
The study concludes that: the use of art in teaching Chinese characters and Chinese culture helps students understand Chinese history and customs. It can help students better understand the symbolic meaning of Chinese culture.
In this research, students are classified into different levels according to his or her background and the understanding of Chinese language and culture. In this way, students’ interests and motivation of learning can be aroused and increased, and the positive result of better comprehension by analogy can be expected.
