科學(science)與藝術(art)一直是護理的兩大哲學觀，護理科系的學生自學業開始的第一年就會接觸這句接近於口號的描述：「護理是一門科學，也是一門藝術」，但我們若深入去探詢臨床資深的護理人員，護理的藝術是什麼，即使她已經接觸這句話多年，也不一定能回答出來。護理的藝術就如同一位裹著層層面紗的少女難以準確地描述。它爲什麼這麼難以回答？它所涵蓋的層面會有多深廣？本文將試圖以護理哲學家的觀點出發，嘗試尋求護理藝術所可能展現的層面，並提出臨床上可見的範例佐證，希望能嘗試揭開這位美麗少女的層層面紗，貼近護理藝術的真實面貌。

The science and the aesthetics or art are the two important views of nursing philosophy. When student nurses studied in the nursing school, they had heard "nursing are both of the science and art" in the first year. However, if we asked the nurse staff to try to claim and explain what nursing art is, we found that most of them were not able to answer this question even thought they had practiced in the hospital for many years. What is the nursing aesthetics or art? The answer to this question is just like the muffler of a young girl. In this article, we will try to describe what the nursing aesthetics or art is and provide some real examples to unveil the muffler.
