本專案目的在提昇護理人員對心肺容積監視器(PiCCO)照護認知及操作能力。本院自2006年2月開始使用心肺容積監視器來評估重症病患心臟、肺臟功能。經調查發現，因無制定工作規範且未舉辦相關在職教育，護理人員對此項技術認知及操作正確率分別僅有46.4%及47.3%，計價完整率20%。經專案改善小組擬訂心肺容積監視器照護工作規範及品質監控作業、舉辦護理人員在職教育課程、製作儀器操作指導手冊及操作流程示範刊板、在職教育示範光碟寺解決方案。結果顯示護理人員照護認知正確率提昇至86.7%(P<.00l)，而操作能力正確率提昇至92.9%，計價完整率達100%，均有明顯改善。本專案結果可提供相關單位照護裝置心肺容積監視器病患之參考。

The purpose of this project was to improve the knowledge about and ability to operate PiCCO of nurses at an intensive care unit. PiCCO monitor has been used to evaluate cardiac and pulmonary function of patients in the critical care unit in the hospital since February 2006. However, knowledge about recognizing the equipment was only 46.4%, only 47.3% of the nurse staff operated it correctly, and only 20% of the charge auditing was completed. Lack of standard operating protocols and training courses were found to be the major causes. To resolve the problems, an operating protocol and quality control system were created. Training courses, an operation manual, and teaching materials were also provided. The results showed that knowledge among nurses improved to 86.7% and operating ability increased to 92.9%. Charge audits were 100% completed. The results demonstrated that the project was effective in improving the use of PiCCO in intensive care units.
