烙印（Stigma）通常是因許多疾病被誤解而產生的一種心理障礙，它不僅會使得疾病的治療不能只單純針對疾病本身而已，醫護人員同時更要幫病患做好心理復健，無形中亦增加了醫護人員治療疾病的困難度。國內外有許多相關文獻及研究在探討烙印對疾病的影響，但至今仍欠缺對烙印作有系統的概念分析。本文依 Walker和Avant (1995) 提出的步驟，加以運用來對「烙印」做概念分析，並且統整相關領域之文獻查證後，確立「烙印」概念的定義性特徵，並提出範例介紹，期能幫助護理人員更清楚地了解此概念，並應用於護理的專業領域中。

　　　　　The statistics from the Taiwan Department of Health (DOH) and the Taiwan Bureau of Health Promotion (BHP) indicated that a sedentary lifestyle and lack of exercise may cause health risks in the Taiwanese population. A number of health policies and health programs have been conducted by the Taiwan DOH to increase physical fitness and exercise among Taiwanese population. The purpose of this paper is to describe national health priorities regarding physical activity and exercise and discuss supportive health polices that exist for advancing physical activity and exercise in Taiwan. Several important health-related plans and programs recently conducted by the Taiwan DOH are described. Implementation and recommendations for public health nursing and nursing research are presented.
