目的:本研究目的為探討醫院員工工作壓力與身心健康之相關探討。方法:採橫斷式研究設計,立意取樣方式,對象為為南部三家區域教學醫院450名員工,以結構式問卷收集基本屬性、工作壓力及身心健康等資料。結果:本研究結果發現:醫院員工壓力源以「應付醫院評鑑」最高(92.9%),其次為面對醫療糾紛(91.8%)。平均睡眠時數少、年收入少、未婚、護理人員、任職於一般病房、自覺輪班造成睡眠障礙者等特性與工作壓力有顯著相關。醫院員工之健康問題分量表以焦慮和失眠構面最高,其次是生理症狀,分析後發現:平均睡眠少、平均收入少、女性、未婚、護理人員、任職於一般病房、自覺輪班造成睡眠障礙者與健康狀況有顯著相關。工作壓力越大,身心健康越差。結論:本研究結果希望能提供給醫療院所參考,針對員工壓力源尋求抒解之道,如提供舒壓或促進健康之活動安排,藉以促進員工的生理、心理健康、提升工作績效與滿意度,從而提高醫療服務品質。

英文摘要

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between job stress and physical-mental health among hospital staff. Methods: This study employed a cross-sectional design with non-random purposive sampling. A total of 450 subjects were recruited from three local teaching hospitals in southern Taiwan. A self-administered questionnaire was used to collect information about demographic characteristics, job stress and physical-mental health. Statistical analyses were undertaken using SPSS 13.0. Results: Results showed that the primary cause of stress for hospital staff came from the preparation of hospital accreditation (92.9%) and the second cause of stress was the threat of medical malpractice lawsuits (91.8%). Significant relationships was found between job stress and average hours of sleep, income, marital status, job title, rotation, workplace and sleeplessness. The sub-scale
report on the health of hospital staff revealed that the primary health issue was anxiety and sleeplessness, and the secondary issue was physiological symptoms. The analysis also showed that there were significant relationships between physical-mental health and average
hours of sleep, income, gender, marital status, job title, workplace and sleeplessness. The higher the working pressure, the worse physical-mental situation. Conclusions: These results may help hospital authorities understand the causes of pressure on their staff. They should
also arrange stress-releasing activities to improve employee's physical and mental health.
