本研究就國內7 所戒治所蒐集254 位成年男性安非他命主要用藥者之性格特質、用藥非理性信念、用藥渴求，以及復發意向等量化資料，進行相關分析與多元迴歸分析，以確定其性格特質、認知、渴求與復發之間的關連性，進而建構復發意向預測模式。研究結果顯示：1.慎思性及堅毅性兩個變項可以有效預測26.5％的用藥非理性信念，且慎思性及堅毅性愈低則用藥非理性信念愈高。2. 堅毅性、效果期待、自貶依毒、低估毒癮等變項可以有效預測54.4％的用藥渴求。顯示堅毅性愈低、用藥非理性信念愈高者其用藥渴求就愈高。3.用藥渴求、自貶依毒與慎思性等變項可以有效預測37.4％的復發意向。顯示用藥渴求愈高、自貶依毒之非理性信念愈高，而慎思性愈低者復發意向愈高。4.在復發意向之情緒引發、情境引發、毒品接觸三個分變項預測結果發現：（1）有愈強的用藥渴求、愈高效果期待、以及愈低自重感者，將有愈高之情緒引發復發意向；（2）有愈強的用藥渴求及自貶依毒者，有愈高之情境引發復發意向；（3）用藥渴求與效果期待愈強，而慎思性與堅毅性愈低者，愈有可能因毒品接觸而引發復發意向。

The relationships among personality traits, irrational beliefs, craving and relapse intention were investigated for a group of 254 adult male amphetamine abusers, who were sampled at random from seven drug treatment centers in Taiwan. Multiple regression analyses were used to ascertain the predictors of relapse intention. Results were as follows: 1.Prudence and fortitude can explain about 26.5% of the variance of the irrational beliefs of using drugs. 2. fortitude, outcome expectancies,self-devaluation with dependency on drugs and underestimation of the risk of being addicted can explain about 54.4% of the variance of the craving for drugs. 3.Craving for drugs, self-devaluation with dependency on drugs and prudence can explain about 37.4% of the variance of intention to relapse. 4.Those subjects who had stronger craving for drugs and outcome
expectancies, and had lower self-esteem,experience a stronger intention to relapse, which was induced by emotions. 5.Those subjects who had stronger craving for drugs and self-devaluation with dependency
on drugs, experience a stronger intention to relapse, which was induced by
circumstances. 6.Those subjects who had stronger craving for drugs and outcome expectancies, and had lower prudence and fortitude, experience a stronger intention to relapse, which was induced by their acceptance of drugs. The implications of the findings of this study for relapse prevention of drug abuse are also discussed.
