腎臟病人常合併有高磷血症、腎性骨病變、體液過量導致體重增加、及高血壓等問題，這些合併
症常會造成病人的身體不適，並嚴重影響生活品質。文獻指出，「行為修正」可運用於自我健康照顧不良的患者，加以改善前述之問題。因此，本文以說明「行為修正」的理論及運用方法為出
發，進一步介紹「行為修正」策略於照護腎臟病患之應用。期望本文能促進健康專業人員對「行
為修正」理論之認識，並能加以運用於臨床腎臟病患的照護，以提升護理品質。

Kidney patients often suffer numerous comorbidities (e.g.,
hyperphosphatemia, renal osteodystrophy,and bodyweight gain induced by fluid overload or hypertension), which often impart discomfort and a significantly reduced quality of life. The literatures points to the efficacy of behavior modification therapy in changing inappropriate self-health care behavior in order to improve comorbidity symptoms.Thisarticle introduces behavior modification theory and its application as well as clinical strategies related to kidney patient care. The authors hope this article will promote knowledge of behavior modification theory among healthcare professionals and facilitate to the application of this theory in clinical practice to improve nursing care.
