本研究探討歷史研究生對歷史研究資源與數位典藏資源的使用需求及資訊尋求行為。透過深入訪談與觀察，研究結果歸納：歷史研究生對研究資源需求廣泛、相關史料搜尋取用不易、參考書目與師長同儕為主要資訊來源、習慣使用電子資源、查詢資料以關鍵字檢索及分類瀏覽為主、偏重使用特定機構之數位典藏、對數位典藏給予正面評價、偏好數位典藏原件圖檔以進行研究、使用部分數位典藏有搜尋或取用困難。本研究根據研究結果提出建議。

This study employs observation method and in-depth interviews to explore the use of Taiwan history digital archives by graduate students of history. Research results show that graduate students of history have extensive needs for research resources, while certain historical data cannot be easily accessed. Bibliographies and information from their peers and teachers are the main sources of research information for graduate students of history. In addition, graduate students of history are accustomed to using electronic resources. Keyword searching and information browsing according to classifications are the main ways they adopt to seek research data. Moreover, graduate students of history assume a positive attitude toward digital archives, even though they
may have difficulties finding and acquiring some digital archives. They tend to apply digital archives from specific institutions and prefer acquiring original images for their research. Based on the research results obtained from this study, some recommendations are proposed for future reference.
