東漢的貴族教育體制乃沿襲西漢而略加改變，對於貴族的教育問題也顯得相當重視。除中央置「太傅」而不設師、保，以及東宮亦立「太子太傅」與「太子少傅」以資輔佐，藩國之內，亦置「傅」來教導宗室。此外，還有許多以他職兼任的師傅，負責教育皇帝、太子、后妃、宦官、宗藩與外戚、士族門閥、異族王室等權貴。東漢師傅官的職責很多，寵遇亦見優榮，令後世相當稱羨。藉由針對現存史料的整理與爬梳，筆者試圖將東漢貴族教育的整體面向，諸如：師傅的設置、師傅的選用、教育的對象、教育的場所、師傅的職責、朝廷對師傅的優禮等主題，皆刻畫出其真實的相貌。透過本文的探究，期望讀者對於東漢時期的貴族教育體制，能夠建立全面通盤性的認知。

The system of national noble education in Later Han Dynasty followed the Former Han Dynasty, and just had a little modified, In fact, the governing class at that time concerned about the issue very much. Except of the central government had set the “Tai-Fu”（太傅）but “Shi”（師）
or “Bao”（保）to teach the Emperor, it also had set the “Taizi-Tai-Fu”（太子太傅）and“Taizi-Shao-Fu”（太子少傅）for the prince royal, furthermore, each of the kingdom also had set the “Fu”（傅）to teach the king and his family. In addition, many people in other position were appoint to teach the emperor, the crown prince, the queen and concubines, eunuch, imperial clans,bureaucrat nobles, alien race royal court concurrently. In any case, the teaching position of noble in Later Han Dynasty had a lot of duties, but they enjoyed a lot of special welfare in the mean time,
and that is admirable today.By the way of studying and searching for extant literature and historical data, the writer try to describe all aspects of the noble education clearly in Later Han Dynasty, such as: teaching position establishment, selection, teaching objects, the education place, teacher's responsibilities, the welfare of the teachers gave from the royal. By this article, the writer expected that readers could understand comprehensively about the noble education in Later Han Dynasty.
