中文摘要

阮元於〈焦氏雕菰樓易學序〉曾云:「江都焦氏,居北湖之濱,下帷十餘年,足不入城市,尤善於取易之經文與卦爻反覆實測之,得所謂旁通者,得所謂相錯者,得所謂時行者,舉六十四卦三百八十四爻,盡驗其往來之迹。于經文之中,而知其所以然,蓋深明乎九數之正負,比例六書之假借轉注,然後使聖人執筆著書之本義,豁然大明於數千年之後。」評價之高,可見焦循易學思想之精妙。而其最特殊的易學理論為「旁通」,故焦氏的「旁通」思想,實有深入研究之必要。根據本文的研究,筆者認為焦循的「旁通」思想,並非僅是對《易》之義蘊的作一表述,而是透過「旁通」強調天人合德境界這一個層面,更由此推演出「性善觀」與「改過遷善」的思想。

英文摘要

make a statement, but through “bypass” stressed the alignment of man and nature to one level, thus performing the “goodness” and “correction” thinking.
