中文摘要

本研究目的在編製一份適合小六至國三學生使用的學習動機量表,以提供相關研究與教師教學使用。本量表共包含價值、預期、情感及執行意志四個分量表,共35 題,施測時間約20 分鐘。本研究總計以台灣地區小學六年級與國中學生預試與正式樣本共1,417 名為研究對象,結果顯示:在信度方面,「國中小學習動機量表」有相當好的內部一致性信度,間隔4到8 週的重測信度也顯示量表有理想的穩定性。在效度方面,以學生自評學習行為、教師評定學習行為及學業成績做為效標,發現量表有良好的效標關聯效度。另外,分別以預試與正式樣本進行的試探性與驗證性因素分析顯示,各題目測量之因素符合理論構念,且量表的理論架構可得到實徵資料支持。在團體差異方面,國中生在學習動機上普遍低於小六生,男、女生則沒有明顯差異。

英文摘要

The purpose of this study was to construct the Learning Motivation Scale (LMS)for primary and junior high school students of Taiwan. The LMS consisted of four sections,which were value, expectation, affect, and executive volition section. It required approximately 20 minutes finishing the whole 35-item scale. 1417 sixth-grade and junior high school students in Taiwan selected for the testing of scale quality. The results were as follows: (1) The LMS had reasonable coefficient of internal consistency reliability and stability. (2) The criterion-related validity seemed to be good when taking the grades, self- and teacher-rated learning behavior performances as criterions. (3) Exploratory
and confirmatory factor analysis showed that the LMS had acceptable construct validity. (4) The primary school students exhibited higher scores than the junior high school students. But there were no difference between the male and female participants.
