本研究目的在編製二份適用於國中一年級科學資賦優異學生鑑定之學術性向測驗。測驗發展之歷程應用題目反應理論(item response theory),先以測驗等化(equating)的方式取得所有題目的鑑別度參數(discrimination parameter,a 參數)、難度參數(difficulty parameter,b 參數)及猜測度參數(guessing parameter,c 參數)後,再依據本測驗作為篩選資優學生的目的,將測驗的目標訊息函數(target information function)訂於+2來編組試題,結果兩份測驗對能力值在2左右的考生皆提供高的訊息量,且具有良好的信度與效度。編組後的甲式測驗以1,758位國一生為常模樣本,乙式測驗以1,854位國一生為常模樣本,建立百分等級及常態化的T 分數常模。
The purpose of this study was to develop two Natural Science Academic Aptitude Tests for identification of academic gifted/talented students. Tests construction applied item response theory. The test developer established a common scale for the three parameters logistic test model by test equating. The target information function for gifted test was to provide maximum discrimination or information at ability of +2. Percentile
rank and normal T-score norm of two Tests were based on 1,758 and 1,854 seven grades students.
