本研究目的在探討大專校院桌球選手知覺教練轉型領導與組織承諾之現況,同時觀察選手背景與教練轉型領導與組織承諾的關聯性。本研究採用之問卷為採用自編之「大專校院桌球教練轉型領導與選手組織承諾之調查問卷」,以參加「2008全國大專校院運動會」之桌球選手為研究對象,共發出研究問卷617份,回收有效問卷486份,有效問卷回收率為78.77%。研究結果顯示選手對教練轉型領導之「個別關懷」構面得分最高,與選手背景關聯性方面,女性桌球選手在「個別關懷」構面(t=-2.31, p<.01)之得分顯著高於男性桌球選手;參賽組別為「一般組」之桌球選手,在整體轉型領導(t=2.92, p<.01)以及「魅力領導」(t=2.32, p<.01)、「智力啟發」(t=2.73, p<.01)與「個別關懷」(t=2.36, p<.01)等構面之得分均顯著高於「公開組」之桌球選手。而在選手組織承諾方面,其中之一「團隊認同」構面得分最高,與選手背景關聯性方面,參加運動代表隊年資在組織承諾之「留隊傾向」(F=2.78, p<.01)與「努力意願」(F=3.06, p<.01)等構面有顯著差異;參賽組別為「一般組」之桌球選手,在整體組織承諾(t=3.28, p<.01)以及「團隊認同」(t=2.84, p<.01)、「努力意願」(t=2.97, p<.01)與「留隊傾向」(t=3.17, p<.01)等構面之得分顯著高於「公開組」之桌球選手。本研究主要發現不論選手背景的差異,皆認為教練的關懷是領導統御的重要因素。

英文摘要

The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between coaches' transformational leadership and table tennis athletes'
organizational commitment of university and college. The research approach applied to this study was the survey method with aquestionnaire. The researcher took the table tennis athletes who joined the University Game 2008 as samples. 486 samples were effective among 617 table tennis athletes and the rate of retrieve was 78.77 %. The statistical methods include factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and multiple stepwise regression analysis. The findings from the analysis were summarized as follows: (1) Table tennis athletes of
university and college perceived an upper level on coaches'
transformational leadership. (2) Table tennis athletes feel that their organizational commitment is middle/high level. (3) Gender and contest category can influence table tennis athletes' perception of transformational leadership. (4) Seniority and contest category can influence table tennis athletes' organizational commitment. (5) There is a significant positive relationship between coaches’ transformational leadership and table tennis athletes' organizational commitment. (6) Coaches' transformational leadership has a significant predictability on table tennis athletes' organizational commitment.
