中文摘要

儘管工作與休閒之補償關係已有許多學者探討,對於工作態度與非工作需求間的關係尚仍缺乏。而瞭解工作滿意的員工是否還具有高度的休閒需求是有意義的,但,該兩者的關係之研究未能從過去的文獻中得到解答。在實務上,瞭解工作滿意對休閒需求影響及員工休閒偏好,對於人力資源部門規劃員工褔利政策也是非常重要的。故本研究旨在探討工作滿意與休閒需求間之關係,以台灣製造業及服務業之298員工為調查對象。研究結果發現,儘管工作滿意與整體休閒需求未呈現顯著關係,但發現工作滿意負面影響休閒需求子構面之逃避日常需求及正面影響休閒之領導社交需求。最後,本研究提出未來研究及人力發展之建議。

英文摘要

Despite the compensation relationship of work and leisure has been researched extensively by many scholars, there are still lack studies on the relationship of job attitude and nonwork needs. To understand how job satisfaction influences leisure needs and what leisure activities is employee favorite are both vital to theory and benefits policy within the
Department of HRM. Therefore, the aim of this study is to examines the relationship between job satisfaction and leisure needs. The data were collected from sample of 298 employees of manufacture and service industry in Taiwan. Despite the results failed to support the hypothesis of job satisfaction impacting overall leisure needs, we found that
job satisfaction significantly negative influences escape from routine need of leisure and significantly positive influences leadership/social power need of leisure. Finally,implications for useful suggestions to further research and human resources professionals are discussed.
