A brief review of the local deformation activities and current CDDS is
presented. It has been found that the existing periodical deformation
displacement monitoring in Malaysia is insufficient to monitor the local
deformation activities effectively. In this paper, a CDDS is being developed as a research platform by using a local GPS CORS network,
ISKANDARnet, located in southern part of Peninsular Malaysia. Threshold
of ISKANDARnet was stated in this paper as the initial study.
