Airline business is a highly professional integration from different
divisions and processes to ensure proper and efficient operations. Impacts
from 911 disaster and fuel price appreciation, how the airlines strengthen
their international competition not only on perspective strategic planning,but also on appropriate tactical management. Fuel cost takes a significant part in airline operation that most efforts on fuel saving should be applied.Based on piloting to cross-continental flight, this paper aims at an overall survey on flight performance to insight into flight operation cost as tutorial to aeronautics engineers. In this paper, China Airlines CI-061 on A-340-313 is piloted for European flights to verify the proposed view points.
