英文摘要

An Automatic Dependent Surveillance (ADS) concept is capable to construct collision avoidance functions for low altitude flights. Utilizing report and surveillance techniques, Air Traffic Controller (ATC) ground station can monitor all aircrafts in airspace. A newly designed Electronic
Flight Instrument System (EFIS) supports pilots for airborne traffic
awareness on ultra light aircraft (ULA). Both airborne EFIS computer and
ATC server will check the separation for all aircrafts. Different levels of warning signals will be pronounced on EFIS displays or ATC monitors.
The position data of aircrafts are checked according to TCAS-I strategy
where mobile packet data communication and Radio Data System (RDS)
are used to broadcast airborne information in real time. TCAS and GPWS
alert is generated according to Traffic Advisory (TA) referring to a
separation bubble for each aircraft in a specific time interval.
Theoretical formulation to support software programming is organized and
implemented. Simulations in ULA airspace are demonstrated to show its
performance. The proposed TCAS/GPWS is built into the developing
Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS) for ultra light aircrafts.
