美白後初期迴色會造成美白效果的減少，本實驗之先驅研究中已找出，第三代的光聚合樹脂表面保護劑Brigtener Ⅲ是適宜的美白後表面處理劑，美白後塗一層Brightener Ⅲ不僅臨床上不會影響美白後顏色變化，並可於美白後創造一個較為平滑表面。本實驗將延續先前實驗，將Brigtener Ⅲ表面處理劑塗抹於強力美白後之牙齒，再將之浸泡於茶水中進行老化(aging)測試，以分光測色儀評估顏色色差。實驗顯示浸泡茶水的4組，各組間有統計上之有意義差異(P<0.05)，而表面塗抹Brightener Ⅲ組，與不塗抹Brightener Ⅲ組，其ΔE有顯著之差異(P<0.05)，此結果意謂著：Brightener Ⅲ對美白後牙齒色層的沾黏有保護、減緩美白後的初期迴色作用。

In prior study, it concluded the 3rd generation light-activated resin composite surface protector (Brightener Ⅲ) was the best surface treatment material in power bleached teeth. The purpose of this study was to search for whether Brightener Ⅲ retards the initial color relapse after power bleaching. Aging test was conducted in tea solution after Brightener Ⅲ applied on bleached teeth surface. The colormeter was performed to investigate color differences (ΔE). Based on the results, color evaluation with or without Brightener Ⅲ under tea solution was significantly different (p<0.05). It meant that Brightener Ⅲ as a surface protector, could retard the initial color relapse after power bleaching.
