中文摘要

校長對學校經營的成敗具有舉足輕重之影響,而其所採用的領導型式往往關乎學校績效之良窳。在教育行政研究的範疇中,多數人也直覺地認為校長領導與學校效能兩者有密切的關係,甚至會影響學校效能。轉型領導是今時教育領導之顯學,相關研究亦不斷推出,以目前博碩士論文數量而言,已累積不少的研究成果。本研究以1996年至2010年間,臺灣地區有關校長轉型領導與學校效能之博碩士論文,做為分析探討的對象,旨在透過該議題之研究發現與結果,釐清目前校長轉型領導與學校效能的研究情形及其關係為何,並探討校長轉型領導與學校效能研究的走向,提出建議做為未來研究之參考。

英文摘要

Calls for reforms in schools have led principals to play an increasingly important role as leaders to improve school effectiveness. Previous researches also indicated a close relationship between leadership and school effectiveness, with a particular focus on transformational leadership in recent years. Yet, a review of transformational leadership literature in Taiwanese schools has shown a lack of comprehensive analyses of existing studies. Thus, this paper seeks to further explore the connection between transformational leadership and school effectiveness in Taiwanese schools through a analysis of 46 theses (7 doctoral, 39 masters), published between 1996 and 2010. The purpose of this study is to understand the existing research during the period and to provide suggestions for future studies.
