領導一直是一個引人矚目的概念,在漫長的領導研究歷史中,雖然在領導的定義上趨向多元,但它始終牽引著社會科學領域的相關研究。1990 年後,領導領域知識有著明顯的發展議題,近年來隨著全球化環境的快速變遷,對領導的本質與發展有著不同的詮釋與思維。本文藉由領導研究的過去、現在與未來的省思,來探究領導發展的議題,進而提出領導的實踐策略。由文獻探究中,筆者建構出領導發展的九個重要議題-領導者的角色與能力、組織學習團隊、組織環境、領導品質、領導倫理、夥伴關係、人力資源管理、多元文化與同僚關係;接續在領導議題的牽引下提出八項領導實踐策略-全球化思維、資訊科技的能力、跨文化領導、倫理決定、人力資源管理、分享領導、組織外部夥伴關係與組織內部學習社群等,藉以做為領導者有效因應領導發展方向,以建構更佳的領導品質。

英文摘要

Leadership has been being a noticeable concept. During the long
history of the research of leadership, the definition of leadership is
diverse, but it always affects the researches in social science. After
1990, the knowledge of leadership related field has noticeable
developmental issues. With the rapid change of global environment,
researchers have different views on the interpretation and thoughts of
the essence and development of leadership. The research discusses the
issues of leadership development via reflection on the past, present and
future of leadership research and offers strategic practices. By
reviewing the related research, nine important issues of the leadership
researcher constructs are: role and ability of leader, organizing learning
team, organizational environment, leadership quality, ethic of
leadership, partnership, management of human resource, and diversity
culture and colleague relationship. Guided by the nine issues, eight
practice strategies are suggested: global thinking, ability of information
technology, cross-culture leadership, ethical decision, human resource
management, sharing leadership, external partnership of organization,
and internal learning communities of organization. Hope the issues and
strategies guide leaders’ leadership development effort, thus producing
better leadership quality.
